Milling Machine Swing Aside Guards
All TDT Technology milling machine tool guards, made by Repar2 are fully compliant with the UK PUWER 1998 Regulations for machinery safety.
All swing aside safety guards for CNC Milling Machines come with or without balancing and can be held in position by gas springing. An optional 20w inspection lamp is available and the fixing of the machine guard can be left or right handed. Micro-switches to prevent operation while the machine guard is open are fitted to ensure machinery safety.
The operator friendly proximity of the swing aside guard provides protection without the usual constraints of a full sliding table guard. When not required the machine guard simply swings aside allowing full operator access to the machine table for setting and measurement etc.
This type of milling machine guard is suitable for tool room machines and also R & D workshops, prototype work and small batch production machines. The framed polycarbonate protective screen with support arm and mounting bracket adjusts easily and can be fitted to either the left or right hand side of the machine, the standard being on the left.
