Lathe Machine Tool Sliding Guards
All TDT Technology lathe machine tool sliding guards, manufactured by Repar2, are fully compliant with the UK PUWER 1998 regulations for machinery safety. The machine guard can be supplied with an electrical interlock incorporating a safety micro-switch working in accordance with EN 1088, which will prevent the machine from operating when the guard is in the open position, including a certificate of conformity.

Sliding on ball guides, the Minor range of lathe machine safety guards are to be fitted on the lathe's headstock. Made from sheet steel, the upper and the front sides of the guard are provided with large polycarbonate window screens to facilitate visibility into the work area and come complete with a safety micro-switch system.

Made from a steel frame with a polycarbonate screen, this lathe guard is designed to protect the operator from swarf and coolant. The TC range of machine guarding is available either with or without a cooling system and micro-switch and is fitted to the back of the lathe.
