Lathe Machine Tool Guards
All TDT Technology lathe machine tool chuck and sliding guards, manufactured by Repar2, are fully compliant with the UK PUWER 1998 regulations for machinery safety.
The lathe guards can be supplied with an electrical interlock incorporating a safety micro-switch working in accordance with EN 1088, which will prevent the machine from operating when the guard is in the open position, including a certificate of conformity.

Lathe Machine Tool Chuck Guards
Access to the work piece is quick and easy with all of our lathe chuck guards; the guard is lifted and simply swung away from the operator. The size of the guard required is dependant upon the centre height of the lathe and the diameter of the chuck.
Lathe Machine Tool Sliding Guards
Lathe Machine Sliding Guards offer the machine tool operator full mobility with the machine safety guard to be fitted on the longitudinal carriage of the lathe, sliding on ball guides. Made from a steel frame with a polycarbonate screen, the lathe guards are designed to protect the operator from swarf and coolant and available either with or without a cooling system and micro-switch.
