The Fidia HS664 is a range of 3, 4 & 5 Axis High Speed Machining Centres with X, Y and Z travel of 600, 560 and 400mm respectively. The HS664 V CNC machines are equipped with a 1000 x 550mm fixed table, while the HS664 RT CNC machines have an integrated rotary-tilting worktable.

K-Series

The design of the K-Series of 5 Axis High Speed Machining Centres is focused on achieving a compact bi-rotary head with high stock removal capacity, continuous movement of the axes and powerful hydraulically operated clamping systems.

Axis morphology of the KR and Y2K make these models particularly suitable for the machining of larger pieces. An integrated rotary table is used on the KR version as an alternative to the fixed table, with the axis of rotation positioned in the proximity of the external limit of the Y axis travel.

The choice of a fixed bed structure was determined by the following criteria:
– Constancy of the forces allowing for optimum machining quality
– Optimum visibility of the component being machined
– Offers a wide range of possibilities for customisation

After years spent satisfying the need for improvement in the quality and accuracy of complex machining and since the launch onto the market of CNC machine tools designed for finishing, Fidia has responded to a new challenge in which the rationalisation of the production cycle has become an absolute priority. Combining high dynamics with stability, stock removal and with high-precision finishing and modular design, the G996 High Speed Machining Centres have achieved a new level of performance.

The result is a modular system offering various milling options and different worktable combinations that will satisfy most machining requirements with 3 and 5 continuous or indexed axes. Sectors in which the G996 machining centres can be found include those where high precision and excellent stock removal is required; from the moulds & dies sector to general machining and the aeronautical industry.

The G996 3-Axis standard configuration is equipped with a high-speed spindle that is able to deliver high-performance milling, boring, drilling and tapping. As an option, the vertical axis can be fitted with a robust head with two indexed axes (BSH version) or a continuous head with 5 axes (M5A version).
